The Road Policing and Regional Support Command was formed in 2020, charged with prioritising frontline policing processes from the existing Community Contact Command and Road Policing Command.

Our purpose

The purpose of the Command is to provide direct support and capability expertise to assist frontline police to keep the community safe and connected to the QPS, and to reduce the trauma on our roads.

The Command is made up of the following groups:

• Communications Group
• Policelink Group
• Road Policing Group
• Road Safety Camera Office
• State Custody and Property Group
