Community engagement – have your Say

Community Policing Boards (CPBs) are a way for police to work together with communities on crime and community safety. Through CPBs, local communities can have a say on crime issues.

The Queensland Police Service (QPS) has set up at least one CPB in each of the police districts across our Regional Operations portfolio – find your local CPB by visiting  myPolice and searching for your district.

The purpose of CPBs is to:

  • Promote community safety

  • Find ways to address social problems associated with crime and community safety.

  • Enable police to work together with government, business and the community.

  • Find community safety solutions that are based on evidence and research.

To find out what's happening with your local Community Policing Board, go to myPolice and search for your district.
