The Queensland Police Rugby League Association will be hosting a charity rugby league Memorial Day on 25 February 2023 to raise funds for the Rachel McCrow and Matthew Arnold Remembrance Fund.
On 12 December 2022, four Queensland Police Officers were ambushed at a property in Wieambilla, south-west Queensland, while attending a routine missing person inquiry. Tragically two officers suffered fatal injuries.
This charity event brings the community together to pay respect to the fallen officers and to acknowledge the actions displayed by all officers involved in the police action on that day.
