Biography/Story
At 3am on Saturday, 26 June 2021, Senior Constable David Masters was performing duties as a member of the Deception Bay Police Station on the Bruce Highway at Burpengary. Senior Constable Masters deployed road spikes across the highway in an attempt to stop the driver of a speeding stolen vehicle. The driver swerved and struck Senior Constable Masters, resulting in his fatal injuries.
