State PLO Coordination

The State Police Liaison Officer (PLO) Coordination team is comprised of the State PLO Coordinator, along with the Multicultural PLO Coordinator and the First Nations PLO Coordinator. 

Together, they play a crucial role in promoting, driving, and advocating for the PLOs, TSIPLOs (Torres Strait Islander Police Liaison Officers), and CCLOs (Cross-Cultural Liaison Officers) across the state.

Portfolio

Coordinate regular meetings for the PLO and TSIPLO Network and the CCLO Network to support and advocate for PLO development, recruitment, Initial Employment Training courses, wellbeing and connections within the PLO, TSI PLO, and CCLO network within the QPS.

Provide support to Multicultural Affairs and First Nations and promote the initiatives and engagement in First Nations and Multicultural communities

Coordination of the State-wide PLO and TSIPLO Conference to enhance PLO and CCLO professional development, community engagement strategy and wellbeing of PLOs and CCLOs.
