Russell Anthony WILSON

Russell Wilson and his partner Constable Allan Doyle, of the Cairns Traffic Branch, were in pursuit of a suspect vehicle travelling south on the Bruce Highway at Cairns, when the police car collided with the offender’s vehicle causing it to overturn twice.  Constable Wilson died instantly but his colleague survived.
