The Far Northern Police Region delivers policing services to some of the most remote areas of the state to help make Queensland a safe and secure place to live, visit and do business.
The region is responsible for policing Australia’s closest international border and some of its most culturally diverse communities.
The Far Northern Region is responsible for the Far North Police District, covering 44 Police Divisions across the region from the Torres Strait south to Cardwell and stretching west to the Gulf of Carpentaria.
