Police in classroom

Museum education program

Our Education Program caters to school groups from Year 5 to 12 and special interest mature groups. Our booking timeslots are 9.30am, 11.00am and 1.30pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The usual time slot is 1hr and 30mins. The Augmented Reality* experience takes 30mins to complete. *We are aware of the technological issues associated with the AR App on both Android and Apple platforms. We are working to fix these issues.

When a group visits, we give a presentation regarding a true crime story of your choice or a presentation breaking down the forensic processes of the Queensland Police Service and then allow you to look around the museum.

Due to staffing shortages we do not tour groups around the museum. We do offer pre-recorded videos to visiting groups instead of an in-person presentation. If you wish to watch the videos prior to the visit to check appropriateness, email us and ask for the Vimeo password.
